◎IFRA　全世界の香料製品が安全規定順守と発表

【ブリュッセル2012年7月11日PRN＝共同JBN】IFRAの第6次コンプライアンス期間（Compliance cycle）は100%完了した。10カ国での市販製品450品目の中から無作為抽出された50品目を対象とするサンプル・テストの結果、全ての香料使用方法が IFRAの実施綱領（Code of Practice）を順守していることが判明した。第6次 IFRAコンプライアンス・プログラム（Compliance Program）は2011年5月から2012年5月までを適用期間としたが、任意抽出製品の全てでIFRA実施綱領に違反する物質を発見しなかった。これらの製品にはファインフレグランス（高級香料製品）、ボディケア用品、ハウスホールド用品を含むが、独立検査機関であるEurofinsによって解析され、全製品が合格した。

IFRAのピエール・シバック理事長は「『第6次コンプライアンス・プログラム』はあらためてIFRAの適正基準が忠実に守られていることを示した。IFRAの目的は、消費者と環境のために香料製品の安全を確保することにある。私たちは香料業界の研究センターである RIFMでの成分の安全性評価と専門家パネルによる分析結果の綿密かつ独立した点検に依拠した業界内政策の設定によって目的達成を目指している。香料業界は総体として、このコンプライアンス・プログラムを履行する責任を貫徹し、IFRAの適正基準（Standards）が尊重されていることを確信させており、私は今回のコンプライアンス期間（Compliance cycle）が完全無欠な順守を示したことを大いに喜びとしている」と話した。

     Sixth IFRA Compliance cycle is 100% clear. A test sample of fifty

fragranced products, chosen at random from a selection of 450 marketed products

from ten different countries, found that all fragrance formulations were

compliant with the IFRA Code of Practice. The sixth cycle of the IFRA

Compliance Program*, covering the period May 2011 to May 2012, did not find any

substances in violation of the IFRA Code of Practice in any of the selected

products. The products, which include fine fragrances, body care products and

household products were analyzed by an independent body, Eurofins** and were

given the all clear. Pierre Sivac, IFRA President, said: "This sixth cycle of

our Compliance Program has once again demonstrated that the Standards are

adhered to. Our objective at IFRA is to ensure the safety of fragrance products

for the consumer and the environment. We look to achieve this by evaluating the

safety of ingredients through the industry's research center, RIFM*** and by

setting industry policy based on the outcome of exhaustive independent reviews

of the results by a panel of experts. Our industry has collectively undertaken

the responsibility of enacting this Compliance Program to ensure that the IFRA

Standards are respected and I am very pleased that the results of this latest

cycle show 100% compliance."
