急成長する端末相互間（エンドツーエンド）商品管理ソフトウエアの世界的プロバイダー、Eka Software Solutions（http://www.ekaplus.com）は16日、Silver Lake Kraftwerk（http://www.silverlake.com/secondary.asp?pageID=27）が従来の投資企業Nexus Venture PartnersとともにEka社に戦略投資したことを明らかにした。

Silver Lake Kraftwerkはエネルギー・資源部門のビジネス革新企業に成長資金を提供しており、国際テクノロジー業界の大手投資企業、Silver Lakeの投資戦略のひとつである。Silver Lake Kraftwerkは投資ラウンドを主宰、Ekaの少数株式を保有する。

2004年にインドのバンガロールで創業したEkaは商品取引・リスク管理ソフトウエアの国際的な大手プロバイダーである。同社の中核商品は、取引・ポジション管理、商品サプライチェーン、企業リスク管理、コンプライアンス、分析をカバーするエンドツーエンド商品管理プラットフォームである。Ekaは農業、エネルギー、金属・鉱業部門の大手商品販売業者、トレーダー、鉱山会社、メーカーなどを顧客にしている。

今回の投資はEkaの成長戦略を支援し、同社はより速いペースで新機能を生み出し獲得する。同社の研究開発の焦点は引き続き、革新的製品の開発、商品・金融市場向け販売、商品市場参入者が選択できるプラットフォームという立場の発展に置かれる。

    Investment will support growth and market expansion for leading commodity

along with existing investor Nexus Venture Partners, has made a strategic

investment in Eka. Silver Lake Kraftwerk provides growth capital to business

innovators in the energy and resource sectors and is one of the investment

strategies of Silver Lake, the world's leading investor in the global

technology industry. Silver Lake Kraftwerk led the investment round and will

hold a

minority stake in the company.
