◎INTEROPムンバイの開催準備が急ピッチ　世界をリードするIT産業会議と展示会

【ムンバイ（インド）2013年10月28日 PRN＝共同JBN】毎年、IT産業とテクノロジー企業、消費者は世界各地で分散開催されるINTEROPコンファレンス・展示会で一堂に会する。第5回INTEROPムンバイは2013年11月20日から22日まで、ボンベイ・コンベンション・アンド・エキシビションセンターで開催される。

会議のプログラムと紹介に若干の変更が加えられ、第5回INTEROPムンバイはこれまでのイベントとは根本的に異なったものになることを約束する。

今回のイベントで発言を予定している何人かは、INTEROPムンバイに参加するべきだと考えている理由を質問されて、そこに共有すべき知見があるからだ、と答えた。

Essar Groupのケユル・デサイ副社長補佐（ネットワーク、通信・情報保安担当）は「INTEROP は最新のIT産業のトレンドについてのよりよい知見を、重要なテクノロジーパートナーやニッチプレーヤーと効率的に共有できるプラットフォームであり、ハイテク産業のすべての部門で正しいソリューションを得る助けになる。これがINTEROPに参加することを決めた主要な理由の1つだ。ベンダーのアゴノスティックなアプローチが他の同種のイベントと比べると違いがあるところだ」と述べた。

ことしの INTEROP ムンバイは基調講演が8件、複数のビジネスセッション、業界別のパネルデスカッション、技術的ワークショップが開催される。コンファレンスのプログラムによると、40の全体セッションで著名な業界代表が登壇し、クラウド、セキュリティー、ビッグデータ、モビリティー、コネクティビティー、BCP/DR 、データセンター、ソーシャル・コラボレーション、遠隔診療、テクノロジーインクルージョン、ビジネスストラテジーなど広範なトピックについて講演する。並行してミニ会議や最高情報責任者（CIO）限定のセッションもある。

基調講演

基調講演者のリストには以下の人々が含まれている。ショーン・ナラヤナン・iGate執行副社長兼最高流通責任者（CDO）は、成果ベースのビジネスモデルを導入するためにiGateがいかにして海外ビジネスを再エンジニアリングしたかについて講演する。ジェイ・バビシEC Councilの共同創業者兼社長も講演するが、その他の講演者の顔ぶれも間もなく発表される。

ナラヤナン氏の基調講演のタイトルは「Technology led Business Outcomes（テクノロジー主導のビジネスアウトカム）」。ジェイ・バビシ氏の基調講演のタイトルは「The Advent of Cyber Plaque: Finding the Vaccine（迫り来るサイバー大疫病:ワクチンの発見）」で、現在のサイバーセキュリティー・シナリオと関連付けて、聴衆にサイバー上の大疫病に関する状況を説明、この状況をコントロールないし絶滅するためのステップや課題について問題提起する。

ビジネスセッション

「Down to Business」や「CIO Specialist Master class」など新しいセッションの導入はテクノロジーリーダーや決定権者をINTEROP参加の呼び水になるだろう。

「Down to Business」セッションは1時間のカプセルでビジネスサイド（経営トップ）とIT組織の双方からの講演が提示される。経営トップはビジネス上の諸問題、戦略、計画について討議を望んでおり、ビジネス目標を達成するためにIT側に期待を寄せている。この他に例がないセッションについての詳細はINTEROP のウェブサイトに掲載されている。

World's leading IT Conference and Expo Gearing up for its Mumbai Edition
