【イエーテボリ（スウェーデン）2013年11月1日PRN＝共同JBN】富士通は日本の複数の携帯電話会社とともに、Fingerprint Cards（FPC）の組み込みスワイプセンサー技術を使用した携帯電話の新モデル6機種を発表した。発表されたのは、4機種のAndroidスマートフォンと2機種のAndroidタブレットである。新モデルは今年第4四半期に日本の携帯電話会社の店舗で販売が開始される。

富士通の高田克美モバイルフォン事業本部長は「スマートデバイスの指紋センサーは、デバイスの安全と同時にユーザーの利便性とユーザー体験の向上を確実にするうえで、ますます不可欠な手段となっている。スマートフォン、さらにはタブレットの指紋センサーは富士通のトレードマークになっている。Fingerprint Cardsの技術を使った製品発売の成功に続き、この協力とパートナーシップを拡大できたことは大変うれしい」と語った。

Fujitsu Launches Four Smartphones and Two Tablet PCs With FPC Embedded Fingerprint Technology for the Japanese Market

   Fujitsu has announced six new mobile devices with several operators in

Japan, using embedded swipe sensor technology from Fingerprint Cards ("FPC").

The announcement relates to four Android smartphones and two Android tablet

PCs. The products will start to sell in operator stores in Japan during the

fourth quarter of 2013. This is FPC's first launch for a tablet PC to date.

   "Finger sensors in smart devices have become an increasingly essential way

to ensure that these devices are secure and at the same time improve

convenience and user experience for the user. Finger sensors in smartphones,

and now also tablets, have become something of a trademark for Fujitsu. After

the successful launch using technology from Fingerprint Cards, we are happy to
