金融サービスの顧客企業ためにビッグデータと予測分析を結び付けて情報を創造するソフトウエア会社DemystData（https://demystdata.com/）はこのほど、Notion Capital （http://www.notioncapital.com/）とSingTel Innov8（http://innov8.singtel.com/）、Arbor Ventures（http://www.arborventures.com/）、P2P Equity Partners、Wonga創業者のエロール・ダメリン氏から500万ドルのシリーズAの投資資金を調達した。DemystDataの既存投資企業はAccion Venture LabとArbor Ventures。今回調達した資金は技術チームの増強と国際展開の推進に活用する。

世界の金融機関は、消費者や中小企業のデータの収集に努めているが、集まる情報は増えている。DemystDataのソフトウエアを利用すれば、顧客企業はオンラインやソーシャル、通信、社内の大量のデータを統合し、正確で使いやすい顧客プロフィルをリアルタイムで作成できる。このためDemystDataの顧客は今までより優れた決定を下せる。世界の金融顧客がDemystData技術を使って処理したプロフィルは、これまでに3000万件を超えている。

DemystDataを設立したマーク・フーキー最高経営責任者（CEO）は「ビッグデータはブームだが、ほとんどの金融機関にはデータの取得や統合、ふるい分け、解釈は難しいところだ。DemystDataのソフトウエアは消費者や中小企業のリスク情報の精度を高め、既存のシステムを増強し、顧客に”これはいい”と言わせる」と述べた。

DemystDataは今回調達した資金を利用して、銀行やそれに代わる融資企業からの増大する需要に対応して、顧客データ・サイエンティストのチームを増強する計画。また主力のアプリケーション・プログラミング・インターフェース（API）技術を世界的に高めるため、新しいデータ提携事業にも投資する。

clients, has closed USD$5 million in Series A funding from Notion Capital
