情報およびソフトウエアのセキュリティー・プロフェッショナルの認定を世界中で実施する世界最大の会員制非営利団体であり、10万人近くの会員を有する(ISC)2(R)(アイ・エス・シー・スクエア、以下「(ISC)2(R)」)は8日、第8回年次アジア・パシフィック情報セキュリティー・リーダーシップ・アチーブメント(ISLA)プログラムの受賞者を発表した(https://www.isc2.org/isla/default.aspx)。(ISC)2は、北京のシャングリ・ラ ホテルで7月24日開催される表彰式ディナーで27人の受賞者を表彰し、4つの模範的な人材育成イニシアチブおよびコミュニティー・サービスのスターを顕彰する特別受賞者を発表する。中国情報産業協会情報セキュリティー・プロフェッショナル委員会(Information Security Professional Committee of China Information Industry Association)と(ISC)2が共同開催するセキュアアジア@北京・カンファレンス(SecureAsia@Beijing Conference)が23-24日、同じ会場で同時開催される。
主賓の中国情報セキュリティー協会副会長のシャオ・ドン・ツォ博士と(ISC)2(R)の幹部はアジア・パシフィックの超一流の情報セキュリティー・プロフェッショナルによる人材育成の成果を表彰する。
(ISC)2(R)のエグゼクティブディレクターであるW・ホード・ティプトン氏(CISSP)は「(ISC)2(R)は25年前に創設されて以来、情報セキュリティー資格の提供を通じて専門家認証に貢献してきており、その資格保有数は増加を続けている。ISLAプログラムは今現在のパイオニアと先駆者を表彰することによって、次世代の強力な情報セキュリティー・プロフェッショナルの創意工夫を刺激することを支援する。その意味で、すべての受賞者に祝意・敬意を表したい。受賞者の皆さんは日常業務を超えてセキュリティーレベルの向上への情熱を注ぎ込んでいる。ISLAプログラムは(ISC)2(R)アジア・アドバイザリー・ボードのメンバーの継続的支援なしには成功できなかったので、私は同メンバーに深く感謝したい。さらに選考委員会メンバーには特に感謝したい。彼らは、ISLA受賞者を客観的に選抜するために最大限の時間と労力をささげてくれた」と語った。

Gala Dinner to be held concurrently with SecureAsia@Beijing July 23-24 at
the Shangri-La Hotel in Beijing
(ISC)2(R) ("ISC-squared"), the largest not-for-profit membership body of
certified information and software security professionals with over 100,000
members worldwide, today announced the honorees for its eighth annual
Asia-Pacific Information Security Leadership Achievements (ISLA) Program. (
https://www.isc2.org/isla/default.aspx ) (ISC)2 will recognize 27 honorees and
announce four showcased workforce initiatives and a community service star
special recognition at a Gala Dinner and Ceremony on July 24, 2014, at the
Shangri-la Hotel in Beijing, China. Concurrently, the SecureAsia@Beijing
Conference, co-organized by the Information Security Professional Committee of
China Information Industry Association (CIIAISPC) and (ISC)2, will be held July
23-24 at the same venue.
The Guest of Honor, Dr. Xiaodong Zuo, vice president of China Information
Security Institute, along with (ISC)2 executives, will celebrate the workforce
achievements of top information security professionals throughout Asia-Pacific.
"Since our inception 25 years ago, (ISC)2 has helped to build the standard
for professionalism, and membership continues to grow. The ISLA Program helps
to inspire a strong future generation of information security professionals by
recognizing today's pioneers and visionaries. We congratulate all honorees, as
their passion to protect goes beyond their daily jobs," said W. Hord Tipton,
CISSP, executive director, (ISC)2. "The success of the ISLA program would not
be possible without the continued support of the (ISC)2 Asian Advisory Board
members, to whom I extend my deepest appreciation. I am especially grateful to
