初の四川観光エキスポが峨眉山で華やかに開催される

【峨眉山市（中国）2014年9月29日PRN=共同通信JBN】初の四川国際観光交易博覧会（Sichuan International Travel Expo、略称SCITE）が9月27日、峨眉山市（楽山市管轄）で開幕、魏宏・中国共産党四川省人民委員会副書記兼四川省長が開会を宣言、黄彦蓉副省長が開会式を司会した。同エキスポは「四川省を観光経済強大省かつ世界の観光目的地に」という開発目的を実現するための主要な手段であり、37カ国・地域から400人余りの観光産品・サービスのバイヤーや観光関連組織の代表が集まり、さらに国内20省の観光部門代表が招待客として参加した。四川省出身の著名文化人15人が開会式で「四川観光イメージ大使」に任命された。

1500社を超える観光セクターの内外企業がSCITEに参加、四川省ならびに中国西部の大きな影響力と魅力を印象付けた。国内と海外からのバイヤー561人とサプライヤー912人が2日間にわたり、あらかじめアレンジされた全20回の当事者同士で商談会を実施した。内外80人余りの投資企業代表が「四川省観光投資プロジェクト推進・調印式典」（STIPPSC）に参加、総額約1318億5000万人民元に上る約200件の契約が成立した。

SCITEに招待されたアジア太平洋観光協会（PATA）のスコット・スーパーノー会長は、四川省にはたくさんの素晴らしい観光資源が存在しており、PATAは四川省と協力して省観光の潜在的な可能性を開発する責任を担っていると語った。国連世界観光機関（UNWTO）のフランチェスコ・フランジャリ名誉事務局長は、四川省の観光産業は順調だが、今後の発展に大きな余地を残していると語った。SCITEの期間中、一連のイベントが行われ、その中には「スマートな観光の起点は楽山から」をテーマに掲げた「第5回中国国際自家用車旅行交易会」「観光産業開発の世界的な最新方式についてのサミット討論会」「中国における自家用車旅行の開発と動向に関するフォーラム」「中国における観光スマート化の開発と展望」などが開催された。

The 1st Sichuan International Travel Expo was Grandly Opened in Emeishan, Sichuan, China

The 1st Sichuan International Travel Expo (SCITE) was grandly opened in

Emeishan, Leshan, Sichuan on September 27, 2014. Mr. Wei Hong, Deputy Secretary

of the CPC Sichuan Provincial Committee and Governor of Sichuan Provincial

People's Government, announced the opening of SCITE at the Opening Ceremony

hosted by Ms. Huang Yanrong, Vice-Governor of Sichuan Provincial People's

Government. The Expo, as a major access for realizing the development target of

"building Sichuan into a major tourism economy province and a world tourist

destination," attracted over 400 tourism product buyers and representatives of

international tourism institutions from 37 countries and regions as well as

guests in the tourism sector from 20 provinces in China. 15 cultural

celebrities born in Sichuan were honored as Tourism Image Ambassadors of

Sichuan at the ceremony.

Over 1,500 domestic and overseas enterprises in the tourism sector participated

in SCITE, demonstrating the great influence and attractiveness of tourism

resources in Sichuan as well as Western China. 561 buyers and 912 suppliers at

home and abroad held "face-to-face" trade talks in sequence for 20 rounds in

total for two days, which was arranged in advance. 80 plus domestic and

overseas investors attended the Sichuan Tourism Investment Project Promotion &

Signing Ceremony, at which about 200 projects were signed with the contract

price totaling about RMB131.85 billion.

Mr. Scott Supernaw, Chairman of PATA who was invited to the Expo, said there

are numerous excellent tourism resources in Sichuan and PATA has a

responsibility to cooperate with Sichuan to develop the tourism potential of

Sichuan. Mr. Francesco Frangialli, Honorary Secretary-General of UNWTO, said

Sichuan's tourism industry is doing well and has a great potential for further

development. A series of events was held during SCITE, including the 5th China

International Self-driving Tour Trade Fair themed "Smart Tourism-Start from

Leshan," Summit Forum on Global New Patterns of Tourism Industry Development,

Forum on Self-drive Development & Trend in China, Forum on Development &

Outlook of Smart Travel in China. and more.
