MR Solutions社は、前臨床MRIにおける可能性を各段に向上させる冷媒を必要としない第2世代のマグネット技術を持つ装置の最初の納入先を発表した。

MR Solutions社は冷媒を必要としない第2世代の革新的な3Tと7Tの前臨床用MRI装置を発表した。この新技術は、可変磁場操作、高い固有磁場均一性、対象物により適合した楕円形のより大きな大型FOV及び自動磁場ランピングの特徴を有している。この新技術は、マグネットの性能を最適化するMR Solutions社の独自の技術によって可能となった。初期納入先には、米国 国立衛生研究所 NIH Bethesda Washington DC、英国マンチェスター大学、韓国 科学技術院、ポルトガル 国際 イベリア ナノテクノロジー研究所が含まれる。

MR Solutions Announces the First Installations of its Second Generation Cryogen Free Magnet Technology for Increased Scientific Capabilities in Preclinical MRI

GUILDFORD, England, Dec. 2 /PRN=KYODO JBN/ --

    MR Solutions has introduced its second generation MRI magnet technology to

its range of ground breaking 3T and 7T, cryogen free, preclinical scanners.

Features of this new technology include variable field operation, higher

intrinsic magnetic field homogeneity, larger fields of view (FOV) elliptical in

shape to better fit the subject and automatic field ramping. This jump in

technology has been made possible by MR Solutions' proprietary technology for

optimisation of magnet performance. Installations of the second generation

technology include the National Institute for Health, Bethesda, Washington DC,

the University of Manchester, UK, Korea Advanced Institute of Science and

Technology, and the International Iberian Nanotechnology Laboratory, Portugal.

    Dr Murali Krishna Cherukuri, Head of the Biophysics Section at the National

Cancer Institute and Chief of Biophysics at the National Institute of Health

    MR Solutions has also launched its new PreClinical Scan(TM) software for

simplicity of use, smoothness of workflow and seamless integration of MR

    The company provides PET-MRI or SPECT-MRI imaging either for independent

acquisition, sequential acquisition, or simultaneous acquisition. Optical and

CT imaging capabilities are also possible. Multi-modality imaging will become

the norm for the study of anatomy, bio-distribution, efficacy, safety and

kinetics within the same anatomical context.
