TUI Travel PLCとTUI AG、TUI Travel Accommodation & Destinationsは6日、3社の統合を受けた組織の名称をHotelbeds Groupにすると発表した。世界でナンバーワンのホテル網を抱え、さまざまな関連市場で先行するHotelbedsも、このグループに所属する。

組織名の変更は、Hotelbedsのブランドが事業の中で大きな部分を占めているという実態に併せて決まった。

Hotelbeds Groupは最近、年間決算を発表した。2014年度（2014年9月30年までの1年間）の売上高はTTVで前年比10%増の40億4800万ユーロ、EBITDA（利払い・税・減価償却・償却控除前利益）は13%増の1億3200万ユーロで、EBITDA（利払い・税・無形資産償却前利益）は1億60万ユーロに達し、再び世界の旅行業界を大きくしのぐ業績を上げた。

Hotelbeds Groupに所属するほかのブランドはDestination Services、Activities、Laterooms.com、Intercruises、Roiback。

TUI Travel PLCとTUI AGの統合に伴って、TUI Groupの新組織は中核業務と関連業務の構成になる。Hotelbeds Groupは関連業務の1部門として、グループをさらに成長させる重点戦略を担っていく。

The Former TUI Travel Accommodation & Destinations is Now Called Hotelbeds Group

-- The company presented its successful full year results recently, increasing

sales by 10% to EUR4,048 million.

Following the merger of TUI Travel PLC and TUI AG, TUI Travel Accommodation &

Destinations announced today that it will be called Hotelbeds Group. This group

includes Hotelbeds, the number one bedbank worldwide together with a range of

global businesses with market leading positions in each of their segments.

The change recognizes the fact that the Hotelbeds brand represents a

significant part of the business.

Hotelbeds Group presented its full year results recently, announcing a growth

in sales by 10% in 2014 (year ending 30 September) and EUR4,048 million in

Total Transaction Value (TTV). Its EBITDA increased by 13% to EUR132 million,

with EBITA reaching EUR100.6 million. The company has once again significantly

outperformed the global tourism industry.

Among Hotelbeds Group's other brands are Destination Services, Activities,

Laterooms.com, Intercruises and Roiback.

Following the merger of TUI Travel PLC and TUI AG, the new organisation for TUI

Group comprises mainstream and non-mainstream. Hotelbeds Group will be part of

non-mainstream and drive a focused strategy to further accelerate growth
