Mandom Corp. chose the winners of the grand prize, "The Greatest GATSBY Award," and other awards after a final round of "GATSBY Dance Competition 7th," a promotional event for the firm's chief brand GATSBY, held in Tokyo's Shibuya on March 7.

Outline of "GATSBY Dance Competition 7th"

"GATSBY Dance Competition" has been held since 2008 to give Asian students opportunities to realize their dreams and wishes, and at the same time to promote exchanges through dance. This year's event was the seventh in the series.

Preliminaries for this year's event began in June 2014, inviting students from nine countries/regions (Hong Kong, Indonesia, South Korea, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand and Japan) to enter the first round of competition in their own countries/ regions. A total of 1,272 individuals and groups participated in the competition, making this one of the largest dance competitions in Asia. Nine individuals/groups selected in their national preliminaries competed in the final contest, "ASIA GRAND FINAL." They were judged by GATSBY's unique criteria: not only for their dance techniques but also for their hairstyle and fashion. With overwhelming votes, WITHBILL BABYZ G.O.T, representing South Korea, was chosen for the grand prize, "The Greatest GATSBY Award," by judges who included professional dancers.

The winners are as follows:

- The Greatest GATSBY Award (Prizes: Invitation to Asian dance exchange tour, cash prize of 500,000 yen, souvenir(s) and Mandom products)

WITHBILL BABYZ G.O.T (South Korea): Young Woo Yoon: age 20; Kang Hyun Moon: age 17

Evaluation: The South Korean pair demonstrated a sophisticated and skillful performance under the concept of a policeman and a thief. They topped it off with a scene of the thief with an attache case full of GATSBY products, sending the audience roaring with laughter.
