アロー・エレクトロニクス（Arrow Electronics, Inc.、NYSE: ARW）は、シンガポールに初のアロー（Arrow）施設を開設して、アジア太平洋地域でIT資産処理およびリバース・ロジスティクス（還元物流）の完全価値回収ポートフォリオを提供すると発表した。

このサイトは幅広い電子機器に対して、確実かつ環境に責任を持つロジスティクス、資産追跡・リポーティング、データ無害化、テスト・スクリーニング、リサイクル、再販、サービス部品管理、製品還元管理サービスを提供する。
アローの世界リバース・ロジスティクス事業部門のマーク・マジェスキ社長は「アジア太平洋地域におけるアローの事業拡大は、当社サプライヤーと顧客の成長目的おサポートする新興および高度成長市場を追求するコミットメントと合致している。当社の能力と守備範囲は、IT資産処理とリバース・ロジスティクスの世界的需要とともに伸びており、われわれは当社を必要とする顧客にサービスを提供する能力と世界的リーチの最も堅ろうな組み合わせ持っていると思う」と語った。

Establishes the first Arrow facility in Singapore
Arrow Electronics, Inc., (NYSE: ARW) announced the opening of the first Arrow
facility in Singapore to provide a full Value Recovery portfolio of IT asset
disposition and reverse logistics services in the Asia-Pacific region.

The site provides secure and environmentally-responsible logistics, asset
tracking and reporting, data sanitization, testing and screening, recycling,
remarketing, service parts management, and product returns management services
for a wide range of electronic equipment.
"The expansion of Arrow's operations in the Asia-Pacific region aligns with our
commitment to pursuing emerging and high-growth markets that support the growth
objectives of our suppliers and customers," said Mark Majeske, president of
Arrow's global reverse logistics business. "Our capabilities and reach are
growing with the global demand for IT asset disposition and reverse logistics
services, and we believe we have the most robust set of capabilities and the
global reach to serve our customers wherever they need us."
The facility has been designed in compliance with the high standards of the
Arrow global compliance program as well as local, national and international
standards for data security and environmental regulations, including the
Responsible Recycling Practices (R2), OHSAS 18001, and International Standards
Organization 9001 and 14001.
Arrow recently was positioned by Gartner, Inc. in the "Leaders" quadrant of the
Magic Quadrant for IT Asset Disposition, Worldwide.1
