石油・ガスのCTU事業など進めるため中国にもICoTA Chinaを設立

【煙台（中国・山東省）2015年5月26日PRN=共同通信JBN】International Coiled Tubing Seminar（国際コイルド・チュービング・セミナー）とInternational Conference on Optimization: Techniques and Application（ICoTA）Chinaの創立記念式典が、5月22日に中国・山東省の煙台で開かれた。Jason O&G Equipment LLC.のゼネラルマネジャーであるジェイソン・ガオ氏がICoTA Chinaの会長に選出された。ICoTA Chinaの設立は、同組織会員全員のスキルと見解を活用し、中国におけるコイルド・チュービングの知識を共有できると期待されている。

コイルド・チュービングに関わる多数の専門家がこのイベントに参加した。その中にはICoTA US支部の元共同議長であるロナルド・クラーク氏、PI Coiled Tubulars元共同議長のロデリック・K・スタリー氏、シュルンベルジェ社のコイルド・チュービング・テクノロジーエンジニアのツオジア氏、Jereh Group最高技術責任者のローバー・リウ氏らで、すべての参加者が経験、イノベーション、優れたケーススタディー現場を共有した。

CTU（コイルド・チュービング・ユニット）は中国では、高度な支援テクノロジーと専門職の欠如が原因で発生する油井の難事を解決するため主として使われている。しかし世界的には、CTUはより低い汚染率で優れたパフォーマンスと高い経済効率があるため、石油・天然ガス事業に広く利用されている。

Jason O&Gは米ヒューストンに本社のある世界大手石油・天然ガス機器メーカーとして、サービスを提供している産業界に優れた石油・天然ガス油井用機器とスペアパーツを供給することに注力している。ジェイソン・ガオ氏は「特に非通常資源の探査開発（E&P）に有利な政策が発表されたことで、大きな石油・天然ガス需要のある中国ではとてつもなく大きな可能性が開かれようとしている。ICoTAの設立は、中国のCTU事業をより高水準に持ち上げ、中国の石油・天然ガスの生産性をさらに高める」と語った。ガオ氏はジャーナリストの前で、ICoTA Chinaの設立の当初目的を以上のように明らかにした」。

Intervention & Coiled Tubing Association（ICoTA）は会員資金供出による非営利組織であり、その主要な目的はウエル・インターベンション（坑井介入）産業内の技術的関心を高めることである。ICoTAは1994年に設立され、会員はサービスユーザー、サービスプロバイダー、チュービング・機器メーカーを含むコイルド・チュービング産業の全セクターから参集している。ICoTAは現在まで、米国、カナダ、ロシア、中東、中国などのグローバル支部を持っている。

ICoTA China Establishes to Boost CTU Operation in China

On May 22nd, the International Coiled Tubing Seminar and the Founding Ceremony

of ICoTA China is held in Yantai, China. Mr. Jason Gao, General Manager of

Jason O&G Equipment LLC., was selected as the Chairman of ICoTA China. The

establishment of ICoTA China is expected to utilize the collective skills and

perspectives of the association members to share the coiled tubing knowledge in

China.

Tons of professionals on coiled tubing gathered to the event, including Mr.

Ronald Clarke, former Co-chair of ICoTA US Chapter, Mr. Roderic K. Stanley,

former Co-chair of PI Coiled Tubulars, Ms. Tuojia, Technology Engineer of

Coiled Tubing in Schlumberger, Mr. Rober Liou, Chief Engineering of Jereh

Group, etc., all of whom shared experience, innovations and excellent case

studies onsite.

In China, the CTU is mainly used for solving well difficulties due to the lack

of advanced supporting technologies and experts. However, it has been widely

applied into global oil and gas operations for its superior performance and

high economic efficiency at a lower pollution rate.
