ZEISSはこのほど上海に新しい中国本社ビルをオープンした。中国本社は上海の自由貿易試験区に位置し、総面積1万6400平方メートル。ここは以下のような幅広い事業活動の本拠地である。医療技術のための中国販売・サービス本部、顕微鏡・工業用測定事業部門、技能審査・訓練センター、ZEISS工業用測定事業部門向け製造工場、中国市場向け中央流通・倉庫機能。ZEISS Chinaの全関連会社のための人材、財務、会計、法律・情報技術などの本社管理サポート機能も現在、この新しい本社にまとめられている。またこの新ビルには、ドイツ国外で初めてとなるZEISSグループの企業革新／研究開発センター、Shanghai Innovation Centerが設けられている。

ZEISS has celebrated the grand opening of its new China headquarters building

in Shanghai. The new China headquarters, located in the Shanghai Pilot Free

Trade Zone, encompasses a total area of 16,400 square meters. It is home to a

wide range of activities: China Sales & Service headquarters for the Medical

Technology, Microscopy and Industrial Metrology business groups, competence and

training center, manufacturing facility for the ZEISS Industrial Metrology

business group and central logistic and warehousing function for the Chinese

market. Headquarters management supporting functions such as human resources,

finance and accounting, legal and information technology for all ZEISS China

entities are also now centralized in the new facility. The new building also

houses the Shanghai Innovation Center, the Group's first corporate innovation

and research and development center outside of Germany.
