Potential Refrigerant Technology at the 2016 International Symposium on New
Refrigerants and Environmental Technology in Kobe, Japan.

International Symposium on New Refrigerants and Environmental Technology,
demonstrating the bright future of their low GWP (global warming potential)
hydrofluoro-olefin (HFO) refrigerants. At the conference, Chemours showcased
its OpteonTM portfolio of refrigerants for applications ranging from chillers
and variable refrigerant flow (VRF) to waste heat recovery for heating and
power.
Chemours has commercialized a broad range of OpteonTM refrigerants across
multiple applications including mobile air conditioning, stationary
refrigeration and chillers. These new refrigerants have quickly been adopted by
users around the world as they offer the optimal balance of properties
including performance, environmental sustainability, safety and cost. Chemours
also has a robust developmental pipeline with additional low GWP solutions on
the way for applications including stationary air conditioning and waste heat
recovery.
The International Symposium on New Refrigerants and Environmental Technology is
a bi-annual research conference organized by the Japan Refrigeration and Air
Conditioning Industry Association. The conference offers its participants a
view of the latest in refrigerant technologies, specifically those that provide
environmentally friendly and energy efficient solutions.
