DREAM Private REIT's 4 Properties Acquired  CASBEE's Top Rank of "S"

Four buildings owned by DREAM Private REIT Inc. (hereinafter DPR), which has commissioned Diamond Realty Management Inc. to manage its assets, have received the highest S-rank certification by a CASBEE (Comprehensive Assessment System for Built Environment Efficiency) assessment and certification organization.

The four properties are AEON MALL Kobe Kita in Kita-ku, Kobe; Daikokucho Butsuryu (distribution) Center in Tsurumi-ku, Yokohama; Logistics Park Noda Funakata in Noda, Chiba Prefecture; and Kobe Minato Soko (warehouse) in Nada-ku, Kobe. The S rank is the highest of four levels in CASBEE certification given by CASBEE assessment and certification organizations that are licensed by the Institute for Building Environment and Energy Conservation.

Japan Retail Fund Investment Corp., co-holder of the trust beneficiary right over the building housing AEON MALL Kobe Kita, and AEON MALL Co., Ltd., the tenant of the building, and DPR cooperated in winning "Certification for CASBEE for Real Estate" for the property.

The three "CASBEE for Real Estate;: Logistics" facilities, which DPR has solely acquired, are the first logistics facilities to be officially certified as receiving the "Certification for CASBEE for Real Estate: Logistics Facilities", since its release for logistics facilities in late November.

Process of receiving certification

DPR has taken measures to reduce the environmental load, save energy and promote the efficient use of energy at buildings it owns, and improve the properties' environmental values by making them more environment-friendly. DPR is also cooperating with its tenants in efforts toward that end.

The aforementioned four buildings received Certification for CASBEE for Real Estate, which certifies that the properties meet the CASBEE-set standards, after a third-party organization examined the outcome of assessments by CASBEE-accredited professionals, which was released in May 2012.
