Venture Global LNGがGalpと年間100万トンのLNG売買契約を締結

【アーリントン（米バージニア州）2018年5月2日PR Newswire＝共同通信JBN】Venture Global LNG, Inc.の子会社Venture Global Calcasieu Pass, LLCとポルトガルの総合エネルギー企業Galpは、米国ルイジアナ州キャメロン郡で建設中のVenture Global Calcasieu Pass 液化天然ガス（LNG）輸出施設から年間100万トンのLNGを供給する期間20年の売買契約（SPA）を締結した。

契約に基づき、Galpは最終投資決定（FID）や他の通常の先例に従い現状で2022年に予定されるVenture Global Calcasieu Pass LNG輸出施設の商業運転開始日から20年間、FOBベースでLNGを購入する。

Venture Global LNGは、カルカシュー水路とメキシコ湾の交差点に位置する約1000エーカーの敷地に年間1000万トンのVenture Global Calcasieu Pass施設と、ルイジアナ州ニューオーリンズの南方30マイルにあるプラークミンズ郡のミシシッピ川沿いの約630エーカーの敷地に年間2000万トンのVenture Global Plaquemines LNG施設を建設中である。

Venture Global LNG enters into LNG Sales and Purchase Agreement with Galp for 1 Million Tonnes Per Year

ARLINGTON, Virginia, May 2, 2018 /PRNewswire=KYODO JBN/ --

Venture Global Calcasieu Pass, LLC, a subsidiary of Venture Global LNG, Inc.,

and Galp, a Portuguese-based fully integrated energy player, have entered into

a 20-year Sales and Purchase Agreement (SPA) for the supply of one million

tonnes per annum (MTPA) from the Venture Global Calcasieu Pass LNG export

facility, currently under development in Cameron Parish, Louisiana, USA.

Under this agreement, Galp will purchase LNG on a free on board basis (FOB) for

a 20-year term starting from the commercial operation date of the Venture

Global Calcasieu Pass LNG export facility, currently expected in 2022 upon

Final Investment Decision (FID) and the satisfaction of other customary

conditions precedent.

Mike Sabel and Bob Pender, co-CEOs of Venture Global LNG, jointly announced "We

Venture Global LNG is developing both the 10 MTPA Venture Global Calcasieu Pass

facility on an approximately 1,000-acre site located at the intersection of the

Calcasieu Ship Channel and the Gulf of Mexico and the 20 MTPA Venture Global

Plaquemines LNG facility in Plaquemines Parish, Louisiana on an approximately

630-acre site on the Mississippi River, 30 miles south of New Orleans,

Louisiana.
