香港証券取引所がMSCI Asia ex Japan指数先物を6月11日に取引開始

＊香港証券取引所（HKEX）が初の地域株式指数先物

香港証券取引所（Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited＝HKEX）がHKEXとして初の地域株式指数先物として「MSCI All Country（AC） Asia ex Japan Net Total Return Index（MSCI AxJ） Futures」の導入を計画している。当局の認可を得て、2018年6月11日（月曜日）に取引を開始する。

HKEXのMSCI AxJ先物は、この指数に連動して取引されるアジアの取引所で初の先物商品になる。

MSCI AxJ指数は確立された指標であり、11カ所のアジア株式市場の動きを追い、香港と米国に上場した中国本土株を含んでいる。純トータルリターンの特性は、税引き後の純配当に相当する。

MSCI AxJに連動する上場投資信託（ETF）は11種類あり、その一つは香港に上場している。

HKEXのリー・ガン市場開発共同部長は「MSCI AxJ指数は世界の資産運用家にとって重要指標であり、アジアで初めてMSCI AxJ先物を提供する取引所になることに、われわれは大きな期待を抱いている。われわれのMSCI AxJ先物は流動性提供者に支えられ、ファンドマネジャーやその他の投資家がリスク管理などの目的で、アジア株に迅速かつ効果的に投資することを可能にする」と述べた。

同氏は「中国本土や国際的な関連のある株式とFICC（債券、通貨、商品）を提供することで、価値ある提案を広げて深めるというわれわれの使命に基づき、この商品が企画された」と付け加えた。

最終取引日：毎月第3金曜日（その日が香港の法定休日に当たる場合は、その1営業日前）

最終決済価格：基準指数の第3金曜日の公式終値

HKEX announces plan to offer MSCI Asia ex Japan index futures from 11 June

- HKEX's first regional stock index futures contract

Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEX) plans to introduce MSCI All

Country (AC) Asia ex Japan Net Total Return Index (MSCI AxJ) Futures, the first

regional stock index futures contract for HKEX, on Monday, 11 June 2018,

pending regulatory approval.

HKEX's MSCI AxJ Futures will be the first futures contract traded on an

exchange in Asia that is linked to this index.

The MSCI AC Asia ex Japan index is a well-established benchmark that tracks the

performance of 11 Asian equity markets and includes Hong Kong- and US-listed

Mainland enterprises. The net total return feature incorporates net dividends

after taxes.

There are 11 Exchange Traded Funds linked to the MSCI AxJ, one of which is

listed in Hong Kong.

asset managers and we look forward to being the first exchange in Asia to offer

managers and other investors to get Asian equity exposure quickly and

efficiently for risk management or other purposes."
