     Sterlite Power has appointed Rui Chammas, former CEO for Biosev, as the

leader of its Brazil business. The Company has a portfolio of 9 projects,

entailing an investment close USD 1.7 bn in the country.

Technological Institute of Aeronautics (in Portuguese Instituto Tecnologico de

Aeronautica - ITA) and holds an MBA from Getulio Vargas Institute. He has also

done an Executive program on Business Dynamics at MIT Sloan.
