【ニューヨーク、エッセン（ドイツ）2018年9月24日PR Newswire＝共同通信JBN】アーバンモビリティー・ソリューションの世界大手企業ティッセンクルップ・エレベーター（thyssenKrupp Elevator）が、Hudson Yardsと契約した。「50ハドソンヤード（Hudson Yards）」ビルに1シャフトで作動するTWINエレベーターシステムを最大40基、「55ハドソンヤード」ビルにエレベーター27基、「ザ・シェッド（The Shed）」にエレベーター12基とエスカレーターユニットをそれぞれ設計、施工する。ハドソンヤードは米史上最大の民間不動産開発事業で、ニューヨーク市ではロックフェラーセンター以来で最大の開発になる。

ティッセンクルップは同時に、エレベーターの先行保守サービスのMAXも設置する。MAXは業界初のクラウドベースのソリューションで、エレベーターの降下時間を半分にする。

The Next Mega Project: thyssenkrupp Technology Confirmed for the Hudson Yards New York Development

    thyssenkrupp Elevator, a world leader in urban mobility solutions, has been

contracted by Hudson Yards to design and install up to 40 TWIN elevator systems

in one shaft for its 50 Hudson Yards building; 27 elevators for the 55 Hudson

Yards building; and 12 elevator and escalator units for The Shed. Hudson Yards

is the largest private real estate development in U.S. history and the largest

development in New York City since Rockefeller Center.

    thyssenkrupp will also provide its elevator predictive maintenance service

MAX, the industry's first cloud-based solution, set to reduce elevator downtime

by half.
