香港の金融サービス・テクノロジー会社で、新興アジア地域でファイナンシャル・インクルージョン（金融包摂）の普及に通り組むOrienteは28日付で、1億500万ドルの初回資金調達ラウンドを完了したと発表した。これについては創業者のほかに、Berjaya GroupやJG Summit Holdings,Inc.、Sinar Masなどのファミリーオフィスも含まれる。ラウンドはアジアのスタートアップによる初回の資金調達ラウンドでは最大規模で、これは世界のフィンテック企業としても同様である。

調達した資金は技術や商品開発の加速と、マルチ市場の展開拡大に活用され、Orienteデジタルソリューションの新市場に参入する成長力となり、東南アジアの急成長する経済で数百万人規模の新顧客へのアクセスを広げている。

The financing is being used to accelerate technology and product development,
