グリーンエネルギー開発の促進にはグローバルな協力が必要とGCL会長

【カトウィツェ（ポーランド）2018年12月12日PR Newswire＝共同通信JBN】中国の多様なエネルギー複合企業であるGCL Groupのチュー・ゴンシャン会長は、グリーンエネルギー開発を促進し、気候変動の影響に対処するためには、グローバルな協力が必要であると語った。チュー会長は11日、ポーランドのカトウィツェで開かれた国連気候変動枠組条約（UNFCCC）第24回締約国会議のサイドイベントで発言した。

チュー会長は「過去10年間で、GCL Groupやその他の優れたグローバルなグリーンエネルギー企業は、ポリシリコン製造の電力消費とコストをそれぞれ64％と90％削減することに成功し、その結果、太陽光（PV）発電のキロワット時（kWh）コストと電力価格が90％以上低下し、PV電力を送電網に接続するプロセスを加速させた」と述べた。

チュー氏はまた、クリーンエネルギー開発における中国の実績について話し、中国がクリーンエネルギー投資で世界1位に9年連続でランクされていると指摘した。中国はまた、太陽光発電と風力発電の設備容量で世界1位にランクされた。こうしたことにより、中国は世界最大の再生可能エネルギー投資国であり、また世界最大の新規および再生可能エネルギーの利用国となっている。

同イベントでチュー氏は、新しいGlobal Green Energy Industry Council（GGEIC、グローバル・グリーンエネルギー産業協議会）の会長に選出された。

チュー氏は、GGEICはグローバルなエネルギー転換の動きと気候変動に対処する諸国の支援で変化をもたらすことになろうと強調した。GGEICはグリーンコンセプトを普及させ、グリーンエネルギー・イノベーションの転換と適用を促進するよう尽力する。

Global Cooperation Needed to Promote Green Energy Development, Says Chairman of GCL

Global cooperation is needed to promote the development of green energy and

cope with the effects of climate change, said Zhu Gongshan, Chairman of GCL

Group, a diversified energy conglomerate in China. Zhu made the remarks on

Tuesday at a sideline event during the 24th Conference of the Parties to the

United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) in Katowice,

Poland.

Zhu said, "Over the past ten years, the GCL Group and other outstanding global

green energy enterprises have succeeded in bringing down the power consumption

and cost of polysilicon manufacturing by 64% and 90%, respectively, which has

helped the cost of photovoltaic (PV) power generation per kilowatt hour (kWh)

and electricity prices to fall by 90% or more, and has accelerated the process

of connecting PV power to the grid."

Zhu also talked about China's achievements in the development of clean energy,

pointing out that China has ranked first in the world for nine consecutive

years in clean energy investment. The country has also ranked number one

globally in installed capacity of photovoltaic and wind power generation. These

make China the largest renewable energy investor and the largest country in the

use of new and renewable energy in the world.

At the event, Zhu was elected president of the new Global Green Energy Industry

Council (GGEIC).

He stressed that the GGEIC will make a difference in the global energy

transformation movement and in helping countries cope with climate change. It

will make efforts to popularize green concepts and promote the transformation

and application of green energy innovation.
