【ムンバイ（インド）2019年7月16日PR Newswire＝共同通信JBN】Vakrangee（バクランジー）は、Nextgen Vakrangee Kendraアウトレットを通じて電動車両（EV）充電インフラストラクチャー施設を設置することを決めた。

Vakrangeeは、19州、366地区、2186郵便番号に及ぶ3504カ所のNextgen Vakrangee Kendraを保有している。68%以上のアウトレットは、ティア5およびティア6の都市にある。計画目標は、2021－22年度までに少なくとも7万5000カ所、2024－25年度までに30万カ所のアウトレットを達成することである。

Vakrangeeは同社の広域プレゼンスを活用し、Vakrangee Kendraと呼ばれる小売アウトレットのネットワークを通じてEV充電施設のイネーブラーになることを計画している。同社は独自のNextgen Vakrangee Kendraで利用可能なサービス拡大に今後も専念していく。

インドの住宅都市省によると、政府は走行する総車両の25%が2030年までに電動車両になると予測しており、全国で堅ろうな電動車両（EV）充電インフラストラクチャーを建設することが必要となる。ガイドラインによると、ハイウエー／道路の両側に25キロ毎に少なくとも１カ所が必要となる。

Vakrangee to Set-up Electric Vechicle (EV) Charging Infrastructure Across India

The Company has decided to set-up the Electric Vehicle (EV) Charging

Infrastructure facility through Nextgen Vakrangee Kendra Outlets.

Vakrangee has 3,504 Nextgen Vakrangee Kendra's spread across 19 states,

366 districts and 2,186 postal codes. More than 68% outlets are from Tier 5

and tier 6 cities. Their planned target is to reach at least 75,000 by FY2021-22

and 3,00,000 outlets by FY2024-25.

Vakrangee plans to leverage this deep presence by being an enabler for the EV charging facility

through its network of Retail outlets called as Vakrangee kendras. They continue to focus on

expanding the bouquet of services available at their exclusive Nextgen Vakrangee Kendras.

For all operators who want to setup Electric Vehicle services in India, it will make sense for them

to leverage Vakrangee's charging infrastructure rather than building one of their own.

Vakrangee is also building a large charging footprint on a Pan India basis through

their network of Nextgen Vakrangee Kendra Outlets.

Commenting on this, Mr. Dinesh Nandwana, Executive Chairman said that,

The government expects 25 per cent of the total vehicles on roads will be

electric vehicles by 2030, necessitating erecting robust electric vehicle (EV)

charging infrastructure across the country, according to the Union Housing and

Urban Affairs Ministry. As per the guidelines, there should be at least one

station at every 25 Km on each side of the highway/roads.
