水素自動車、フランクフルトモーターショーにて：シンビオの野望－燃料電池スタックパックを20万個製造

水素自動車専門会社のシンビオ（Symbio）が、9月10日から13日まで開催されるフランクフルトモーターショーに参加する（4.1ホール、C11スタンド）。ミシュランの子会社であるシンビオはフォルシアとの合弁会社であり、2030年までの燃料電池スタックパックの生産目標を20万個にすることを発表。

水素自動車の時代がいよいよ到来する。特に中国、韓国、カリフォルニア、そして日本では、今後数年のうちに何千台もの自動車が道路を走るようになると予想される。シンビオはこの拡大している市場でリーダー的存在になることを目指し、その目標を達成するために次の課題を特定した。

- 不完全な部分もまだ残されている市場で、自動車メーカーにおける開発時間の削減と同時に、いくつもの市場分野（乗用車、ワゴンカー、商用車…）にまたがる水素自動車のコスト削減の支援。

- 市場拡大の促進と、水素自動車の製造には水素ステーションが必要である、しかし水素ステーションの建設には水素自動車が必要であるという、「どちらが後か先か決められない」という状況を解決する取り組み。

2030年までに燃料電池スタックパックを20万個製造

親会社のミシュランから支援を受けながら、パイプラインではフォルシアと合併し、シンビオはその野望に挑む余裕を持っている：　燃料電池スタックパックの生産目標を2025年までに2万個、2030年までに20万個とした。スタックよりもさらに優れたスタックパックは、水素燃料電池と他の主要コンポーネントで構成されている。これにより駆動時間が延び、自動車の互換性と統合性の双方において最適化が可能になる。

シンビオは水素自動車市場を開拓するのに必要な要素を十分備えているが、その理由を次にあげてみる。

- メーカーが素早く短時間で市場に出荷できる完全に規格化された製品レンジ。

Hydrogen Mobility at the Frankfurt Motor Show: Symbio to Produce 200,000 Fuel Cell StackPack

Hydrogen mobility specialist Symbio will be at the Frankfurt Motor Show 10–13

September, Hall 4.1, stand C11. The company, a subsidiary of Michelin and part

of a forthcoming joint venture with Faurecia announces production of its fuel cell

StackPack will attain 200,000 by 2030.

A new generation of car parts supplier

Hydrogen's moment has finally come. Tens of thousands of vehicles will be on

the roads in the coming years, in particular in China, Korea, California and Japan.

Symbio intends to be one of the leaders in this growing market and has identified

the tasks to be completed to achieve that goal:

- Helping car manufacturers reduce the development time and cost of their

hydrogen vehicles across several market segments at the same time (cars, vans,

commercial vehicles…), despite their varying degrees of maturity.

- Encouraging market growth and working to overcome the "chicken and egg"

problem whereby manufacturers wait for a fuel station network to be in place

before they produce the vehicles while fuel distributors wait for need to be apparent.

200,000 StackPack in 2030

With support from mother company Michelin and a joint venture with Faurecia in

the pipeline, Symbio can afford to be ambitious: production of StackPack is set

to attain 20,000 in 2025 and 200,000 in 2030. Better than a Stack, a StackPack

comprises a hydrogen fuel cell and key components to prolong its lifetime and

optimize both its compacity and integration in vehicles.
