Scholle IPN, a top global supplier of flexible packaging solutions, announced

today that they have agreed to be acquired by SIG, a world-leading aseptic

carton packaging company.

SIG, founded in 1853 and headquartered in Neuhausen, Switzerland, is a leading

systems and solutions provider for aseptic carton packaging. They work in

Once combined, the new company will employ nearly 8,000 people in 69 sales and

The combination of SIG and Scholle IPN expands their collective exposure to

industrial customers.

The transaction is expected to close before the end of the third quarter of
