The Opening Ceremony of 3rd China-Japan Industrial Innovation and Development Exchange Conference & 2023 Japan (Shandong) Imported Commodities Fair to Be Held in Jinan

JINAN, China, July 13, 2023 /Xinhua-AsiaNet/--

During July 20 - 21, the opening ceremony of the 3rd China-Japan Industrial

Innovation and Development Exchange Conference & 2023 Japan (Shandong) Imported

Commodities Fair will be held in Jinan. Shandong is one of the provinces of

China with the closest economic and trade relations with Japan as well as the

province with the second largest population and the third largest economy in

China. Jinan is the economic, cultural, technological, education and financial

centers of Shandong Province.

According to the Investment Promotion Bureau of Jinan, the event will be hosted

by the Investment Promotion Agency of the Ministry of Commerce, the Department

of Commerce of Shandong Province and the People's Government of Jinan City,

which will launch pragmatic exchange and cooperation around the fields of

scientific innovation and commerce circulation with transnational corporations,

renowned enterprises and international business organizations of Japan.

The event will be held in the form of "1+2+N". "1" refers to one thematic

event, the "Opening Ceremony of 3rd China-Japan Industrial Innovation and

Development Exchange Conference & 2023 Japan (Shandong) Imported Commodities

Fair", including opening address and promotion, keynote speeches, signing

ceremony, video review of the fair and launch ceremony. "2" refer to two

thematic activities, namely China-Japan (Jinan) Earnest Talk on Scientific and

Technological Cooperation and Yellow River Basin (Jinan) Japan Economic and

Trade Cooperation Exchange Conference. "N" refers to several targeted thematic

activities such as arranging municipal leadership to meet with key clients,

walk into the district or county or development zone, small salon and tea party

based on the guests' appeals and the earlier docking with business projects at

the levels of city and district.

These activities will mainly promote the new cooperation opportunities of Jinan

for Japan among the representatives, which will be attended by Fortune 500

corporations, renowned transnational corporations and industrial leaders such

as Sumitomo Corporation, Marubeni, Mitsubishi Corporation, Hitachi, Asahi

Kasei, Yaskawa and Fujifilm, and business associations such as the Japanese

Chamber of Commerce and Industry in China, the Japan-China Economic Relations

and Trade Center, the China-Japan Digital Chamber of Commerce and the National

Japanese Economic Association. All quarters of Japan are welcomed to follow up

and invest in Jinan and broaden the cooperation space together.
