As part of the international roadshow developed in the last year by Fiere di Parma in collaboration with in collaboration with ITA - Italian Trade Agency, with the aim of taking the Italian agri-food model worldwide, an important event took place on 5 March at the Italian embassy in Tokyo. The event was intended to present the detailed program of Cibus 2024, scheduled to take place in Parma from May 7 to 10, and the new face of the upcoming Tuttofood, scheduled in Milan from May 5 to 8, 2025, to Japanese stakeholders. This new stage of the international tour, followed by New York (June) and Paris (October), saw the participation of ITA - Italian Trade Agency President Matteo Zoppas, our ambassador to Japan Gianluigi Benedetti, and also the Minister of Agriculture, Food Sovereignty and Forests Francesco Lollobrigida.
The Minister emphasized the crucial role of our country's agri-food trade fair offering not only for the development of Italian exports but also for establishing the Italian food model as a global reference. From 2025, TUTTOFOOD Milano will make Cibus's organizational expertise available to companies
worldwide. The goal is - in collaboration with Anuga Colonia partners – to create a new model of a Global Fair in Italy, more qualitative and immersive, also thanks to a significant off-site event in the city. Like Cibus, it will be an exhibition that goes beyond the physical confines of pavilions to provide a unique and immersive experience, tailored to both exhibitors and visitors.
