GUANGRAO, China, May 20, 2024 /Xinhua-AsiaNet/--On May 15, the 14th China (Guangrao) International Rubber Tire & Auto Accessory Exhibition was held at the Guangrao International Expo Center in Dongying City, Shandong Province.

This exhibition brought together top 75 global tire companies, Fortune Global 500 companies, and the industry's upstream and downstream enterprises, aiming to create an integrated industry chain integration display model, and promote communication and integration among companies throughout the industry chain. Concurrently, more than 20 themed activities were launched, including the China (Guangrao) Tire Industry Cross-border Procurement Meeting and the Guangrao Tire 2.0 New Media Marketing Innovation Conference.

Over the past decade, China (Guangrao) International Rubber Tire & Auto Accessory Exhibition has grown into a globally renowned professional tire exhibition and a well-known platform for technical exchange and trade cooperation in the global rubber tire industry. Covering an exhibition area of 52,000 square meters, this exhibition set up 7 indoor and outdoor exhibition zones with 780 booths to mainly display items including tire products and rubber raw materials and to showcase the entire ecosystem of the rubber tire industry chain. More than 30,000 exhibitors and professional buyers from 70 countries and regions including Saudi Arabia, Canada, Germany, the UK, the United States, Australia, and Malaysia attended this exhibition.

Guangrao County is a significant hub for the production, manufacturing, and export of rubber tires in China, with a comprehensive capacity for radial tires reaching 176 million units, accounting for approximately half of Shandong Province's capacity and nearly a quarter of China's. In recent years, Guangrao County has endeavored to extend its industrial chain and promote its brand, with an view to comprehensively driving the upgrading of the rubber tire industry and improving tire quality. It has been recognized as a distinguished industrial cluster in Shandong Province and one of the top ten industries in the "wild goose queue" cluster in Shandong Province. In 2023, the county's large-scale rubber tire enterprises achieved a production value of 40.72 billion yuan, with a growth rate of 19.6%, and an industrial value-added growth of 22.2%.
