Italy Pop-Music Fest, Italy fills the arena at the EXPO
-Negramaro,Elisa and Achille Lauro attract over 30,000 spectators in 3 days-

The first edition of the Italy Pop-Music Fest closed with record high numbers. The venue offered by the Italy Pavilion at Expo 2025 Osaka promoted great contemporary Italian music on the most important international stage of the universal expo.
In just three days, over 30,000 spectators who danced and sang following the tunes of Negramaro, Elisa and Achille Lauro. A show made of sound and music that drew long queues from the first afternoon at the Matsuri Arena. “We are extremely pleased of the turnout generated by Italian music here in Japan: to see over 30,000 people enjoying the rhythm of the most important musicians of Italian pop music was wonderful”, stated Mario Vattani, Commissioner General for Italy at EXPO 2025 Osaka. According to Vattani, “This is the updated and modern image of Italy that we bring to Japan, even in music, because we need more of Italy in Asia, also for our exceptional artists”.
Italy was represented at the most important venue of EXPO 2025 Osaka with the very best of Italian contemporary music.
The initiative was realized with the support of Friends & Partners, an international firm specialized in event management. The institutions also provided strong support, starting from the Office of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers to the Foreign Affairs Ministry- as well as the Italian Embassy in Tokyo, the Consulate in Osaka and the Italian Cultural Institutes of Tokyo and Osaka.
