＝共同JBN】バイオドット（BioDot）とJOT AutomationはバイトドットがJOTのラテラルフロー・アセンブリー・システムの販売を促進、サポートする共同マーケティング、販売協定を結んだ。
世界的なオートメーション会社であるJOT Automationは自動ラテラルフロー・アセンブリー・システムを北米、欧州、中国、アフリカで共同マーケティング販売する相手にバイオドット社を選んだ。この製造ソリューションは今年初めに発売されたJOTの新しいロボット・アセンブリーIDeA（Intelligent Desktop Automation）プラットフォームに基づいている。
アンドルー・スイート氏は「バイオドットはポイント・オブ・ケア検査（医療現場での臨床検査）機器の研究、開発、製造用のシステム・ツールの範囲を完全なものにすることを目指してきた。過去20年わたり調剤、ラミネート、必要品削減のためのテクノロジー・オブ・チョイスを供給して地位を強化しており、JOTのアッセンブリー・システムでこれを完全なものにできることを喜んでいる」と語っている。
ヨルマ・ベナライネン氏は「この協力関係は、テレコム業界で始まった大量生産のノウハウを利用して生命科学業界の有力製造会社の必要を満たすというJOT Automationの戦略の一環である。わが社はポイント・オブ・ケア製造分野に参入するために強力な装置提供会社を求めており、この分野の有力なツール提供会社としてバイオドットを選んだ」と述べている。
両社は11月にデュッセルドルフのMedicaで提供製品をメディアに初公開する。

BioDot and JOT Automation Enter a Co-marketing and Sales Agreement for
BioDot to promote and support JOT's lateral flow assembly systems.
JOT Automation, a global automation company, has selected BioDot to
co-market and sell their automated lateral flow assembly systems in North
America, Europe, China and Africa. The manufacturing solution is based on JOT's
novel robotic assembly IDeA (Intelligent Desktop Automation)-platform launched
earlier this year.
Andrew Sweet states, "BioDot has been looking to complete its range of
system tools for the research, development and manufacture of point-of-care
tests. Over the past 20 years we have solidified our position as supplying the
technology-of-choice for dispensing, laminating and cutting requirements, and
we are delighted to complete this with JOT assembly systems."
Jorma Venalainen states, "This co-operation is part of JOT Automation's
strategy to use our mass production know-how originated from telecom industry
to serve the needs of the leading manufacturers in the life sciences industry.
We were looking for a strong equipment provider to penetrate the point-of-care
manufacturing sector and we chose BioDot, as the leading tools provider in this
sector."
The companies will be showcasing their offering for the first time at
Medica in Dusseldorf in November.
