【ウィチタ（米カンザス州）９日PRN＝共同JBN】商用航空機向け航空機体の世界最大手非OEM設計者兼メーカーであるスピリット・エアロシステムズ（NYSE :SPR）は９日までに、２０１１年の顧客満足度と優れた業績に与える２０１１年「プラチナ・サプライヤー」として１３社を認定した。高品質でコスト競争力のある製品とサービスを顧客に提供する同社の使命は、優れて革新的、信頼できる供給基盤のサポートなくして達成されることはない。

スピリットのチャールズ・マッキニー副社長は（企業供給チェーン管理・世界戦略担当）は「スピリットの供給業者は、適切な質と量、適切な時期と価格で資材とサービスを提供することが期待されている。これらの活動が顧客に対して当社の質と性能のレベルを絶えず向上する目標達成を支援する」と語った。

認定された１３社は、スピリット、次いで同社顧客に提供する価値の全体的な向上のため品質、定時供給、支援そしてスピリットとの提携の意欲など２０１１年の業績を考慮する要因に基づいて選定される。１３社は米カンザス州ウィチタで８日夜開かれるスピリット主催のサプライヤー認定イベントで表彰される。

スピリットのグローバルビジネスオフィスの戦略的イニシアチブ担当シニアマネジャーであるリア・ラケストロー氏は「２０１１年プラチナ・サプライヤーは世界の多様な企業グループを代表している。チームワークと優秀な業務に対するコミットメントを通じて、これらサプライヤーはスピリットの競争力ある世界的なコスト構造に貢献している」と語った。

Spirit AeroSystems Recognizes 2011 Platinum Suppliers

Spirit AeroSystems, Inc. (NYSE:SPR), one of the world's largest non-OEM

designers and manufacturers of aerostructures for commercial aircraft, has

recognized 13 companies as 2011 Platinum Suppliers for their customer

satisfaction and excellent performance in 2011. Spirit's mission to provide

their customers with high-quality, cost-competitive products and services could

not be accomplished without the support of a competent, innovative and reliable

supply base.

"Spirit suppliers are expected to provide materials and services of the right

quality, in the right quantity, at the right time, and at the right price,"

said Charles McKinny, Spirit vice president, corporate supply chain management

& global strategy. "These activities help Spirit achieve the goal of

continually elevating our own quality and level of performance for our

customers."

The 13 companies were selected based on their performance in 2011 considering

factors such as quality, on-time delivery, support, and willingness to partner

with Spirit for overall improvement in value delivered to Spirit and

subsequently to Spirit's customers. The 13 companies were honored Tuesday night

in Wichita, Kan., at Spirit's Inaugural Supplier Recognition Event.
