◎インフォシスがFoundation Programme設立10周年を祝う　10万人以上が卒業

【マイソール（インド）2012年5月31日PRN＝共同JBN】コンサルティングとテクノロジーの世界的リーダーであるインフォシス（Infosys）は、マイソールにある世界最大の企業大学の一つであるInfosys Global Education Centerで、新入社員のエンジニアリング課程卒業生を訓練するプログラム「Foundation Programme」の設立10周年を祝った。このプログラムは23週間の全寮制訓練プログラムで、学生が学問の世界から適格なプロフェッショナルとして企業の世界に移行することを支援するのを目的としている。同プログラムは毎年インフォシスに入社するエンジニアリング課程卒業生に対し、さまざまな技術分野における総合的かつ詳細な訓練に加え、ソフトスキル（対人技能）と指導者プログラムを授けることに注力している。

マイソールのInfosys Foundation Programmeは2002年5月に、研修者50人、指導者1人、一つの教室という小規模な形で開始され、未来に向けて知識の伝授、ベストプラクティスの共有、知的資本の構築にコミットする世界一流の訓練施設に発展させるビジョンを抱いていた。いくつかある訓練施設の中でも特にGlobal Education Centerで提供されるプログラムの規模は大きくなり、約1万5000人を同時に訓練できるようになった。これまでに新入社員のエンジニアリング課程卒業生10万人以上が同センターで行われたFoundation Programmeを順調に終了した。

クリス・ゴパラクリシュナン共同執行会長は祝賀の席上、「われわれは個人、当社、国家が総じて発展するためには継続学習が重要であることを常に認識してきた。インフォシスは未来に向けて知的資本を構築する取り組みを続けており、今後も企業訓練イニシアチブを通じて当社従業員の育成に全力を挙げていく」と語った。

Global Education Centerは面積が140万平方フィートで、500人の教官と200の教室を擁している。世界最大の企業大学として認められているGlobal Education Centerは、国際的な基準、イニシアチブ、価値を訓練の中核として採用している。インフォシスの企業教育および訓練イニシアチブは米国教育・開発協会と独立系研究企業Forresterによって世界的に認められてきた。

Infosys Celebrates a Decade of the World's Largest Corporate Education Programme at its Mysore Campus

Over 100,000 Engineering Graduates Trained Since Inception

Infosys, a global leader in consulting and technology, is celebrating a decade

of its Foundation Programme, a training programme for entry level engineering

graduates at the Infosys Global Education Center, one of the  world's largest

corporate universities located in Mysore. This is a 23-week residential

training programme designed to aid students' transition from the academic world

to the corporate world, as qualified professionals. The programme is focused on

imparting generic and stream-specific training in various technology areas,

along with soft skills and leadership programmes, to engineering graduates who

join Infosys every year.

The Infosys Foundation Programme at Mysore had small beginnings in May, 2002

with 50 trainees, one trainer, one classroom and a vision to develop a

world-class training facility, committed to imparting knowledge, sharing best

practices and building intellectual capital for the future. Today, delivered at

the Global Education Center, among other training modules, the programme has

grown in scale and can train close to 15,000 trainees concurrently. To date

over 100,000 entry-level engineering graduates have successfully completed the

Foundation Programme conducted by the Center.

Speaking on the occasion, Kris Gopalakrishnan, Executive Co-Chairman said, "We

With 1.4 million square feet of floor space, the Global Education Center has

500 instructors and 200 classrooms. Recognized as the world's largest corporate
