【リッチモンド（米バージニア州）2012年6月14日】Filtrona plc （以下Filtrona）は14日、同社のPorous Technologies部門がJohn R. Lyman CompanyおよびBig Blue Properties（両社合わせてLymtech Scientific）の100%株式資本買収を完了したと発表した。

米国に本社のあるLymtech Scientificは、多孔性特殊ワイピング素材のメーカー兼流通企業であり、同素材は医療、ライフサイエンス、エレクトロニック、工業市場がますます必要としているクリーンな環境の中で使用される。Lymtech Scientificの買収は、Filtrona Porous Technologiesの成長部門の技術を補完するとともに、流通販売網を付け加えることによってその商業能力を強化する。

of 100% of the share capital of John R. Lyman Company and Big Blue Properties

LLC (together "Lymtech Scientific") in its Porous Technologies division.

Based in the US, Lymtech Scientific is a manufacturer and distributor of porous

speciality wiping materials used within the clean environments increasingly

required by the medical, life science, electronic and industrial markets. The

acquisition of Lymtech Scientific not only adds complementary technology in a

growth segment to Filtrona Porous Technologies, but also enhances its

commercial capability through the addition of a distribution selling channel.
