【エバレット（米ワシントン州）2012年7月9日PRN=共同JBN】米Fluke Biomedicalは9日、GEヘルスケア社（GE Healthcare）が分娩監視装置コロメトリックス（Corometrics）250、250x、170シリーズ製品群を維持する補助用にFluke Biomedicalの胎児シミュレーターPS320 Fetal Simulator（http://www.flukebiomedical.com/biomedical/usen/patient-simulators/ps320.htm?PID=56626&trck=ps320）を選択したと発表した。ポケットサイズのPS320は胎児と母体の心電図（ECG）とともに胎児の監視装置の適切な機能を保証する目的で子宮の活動の双方をシミュレートする。

PS320 Fetal Simulatorは各種の生理パラメーター、パターン、状態を信号に変えて、双生児をシミュレートする能力が特徴である。オプションとなる人工心臓は、テストする胎児の監視用超音波診断用ケーブルとトランスデューサーに対する胎児の心音を生み出す。PS320はまた、予防的なテスト、トラブルシューティング、修復に理想的であり、陣痛から分娩までのスタッフが母胎、胎児、監視の間の正常あるいは異常な反応を識別できるよう訓練する広範囲の臨床シナリオのシミュレーションに向いている。
