◎初のGlobal Security Summit Londonが分野別教育プログラムを発表

このイベントはセキュリティー管理およびコンバージェンス・プロジェクトに責任を負うエンド・ユーザー向けに開かれるもので、論理セキュリティー、物理セキュリティーの両方に焦点を当てた2日間の教育プログラムを特徴としており、コンバージェンス、相互運用性、インフラストラクチャー能力などを扱う予定。

Global Security Summit London の1日目の教育プログラムは、2012年ロンドン五輪のセキュリティーに関する議論を続ける形で、オリンピック後の問題点、差し迫ったセキュリティー上の問題点、さらに官民協力の未来について集中して行われる。

2日目はよりITに焦点を当ててコンバージェンスのテーマを検討し、ますます統合が進む物理的セキュリティーとサイバー・セキュリティーの現在と未来に触れる。

新たに始まるこのサミットでは毎日2つのテーマが話し合われる。1日目の午前は「Creating Safer Cities: The Role of Partnerships（都市の安全：提携が果たす役割）」、午後は「Security Challenges for Global Organisations（国際組織が直面するセキュリティーの問題）」。

政府の要職にあるスピーカー何人かがCross-Sector Safety and Security Communications（安全、セキュリティーに関する官民コミュニケーション、CSSC）、公共のセキュリティー分野で拡大を続ける民間の役割、世界のテロ対策などの問題について話をすることになっている。

他に議論されるテーマとしては、ビジネスの復元力最大化、ロンドンの交通インフラストラクチャーの安全確保、企業トップが率先して組織にセキュリティーを導入するためのガイドラインなど。

現在までに確認された1日目のスピーカーには英国交通警察本部長アンディー・トロッター、イングランド銀行でセキュリティー部門の長を努めるドン・ランドール、英内務省安全保障・対テロリズム局局長チャールズ・ファー、The Security Institute会長マイク・ブルーストーンの各氏が含まれる。

education programme for 10-11 October 2012.

    This bespoke event for end users with security management and converged

project responsibilities features a two-day educational programme that will

focus on both logical and physical security solutions, addressing convergence,

interoperability and infrastructure capabilities along the way.

    Following on from the current security debate surrounding security for the

2012 London Olympics, Day One of the Global Security Summit London education

programme centres on the post-Olympics legacy, the impending security

implications and the future of public-private sector partnerships.

    Day Two will be more IT-focused, examining the subject of convergence and
