RealNetworks Inc.は15日、モバイルメディア体験の楽しみ方を容易にする音楽、動画、写真の全機能が一体化したオールインワンのRealPlayer for Androidアプリを発表した。RealPlayerは今後も、世界で最も有名なメディアプレーヤー（https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.real.RealPlayer）ブランドの一つであり続けることになる。Forrester Research, Inc.の2012年6月の調査「2012年第2四半期Forrester Online Omnibus」によると、RealPlayerブランドは米国で84%の人に認知されている。（注）
