【ロンドン2013年8月19日PRN＝共同JBN】2014年3月24日から27日まで韓国・ソウルで開かれる第23回Gastech Conference & Exhibitionの主催者はシェルが同イベントのダイヤモンドスポンサーになることが決まり、主催者は歓迎している。これにより、シェルはイベントのホストである韓国国営ガス企業、Korea Gas Corporation（KOGAS）に次ぐ2番目の「ダイヤモンド」サポーターとなる。

Gastech Korea ではシェルのUpstream Internationalディレクター、アンディ・ブラウン氏が開会セッションで基調講演を行う。

Upstream International Integrated Gasの取締役副社長、マールテン・ウェツェラー氏は「Gastechは業界最大のイベントであり、それを支援できることをうれしく思う。韓国とアジア太平洋地域はガス産業にとって重要な市場である。イベントが成功することを確信しており、期待している」と述べた。

Gastechは国際的な石油・ガス産業の最大規模のイベントであり、自然ガスサイクルで仕事をしている世界中のエネルギー関係専門家集う場でもある。1972年に最初のイベントが開催され、液化天然ガス（LNG）や液化石油ガス（LPG）の輸送についての技術的な決めごとに関わる専門家が集まった。それ以来石油・ガスのサプライチェーンの全体を網羅する会合に発展、１年半おきに場所を変えて世界各地で開催されてきた。現在では上級専門家2000人が参加する会議と、1万4000人のビジターが見学に来る展示会が開かれている。展示会は400以上の大手企業が世界全体のガス供給チェーンの全体像を出品している。

Gastech Korea Welcomes Shell as Diamond Sponsor

     Gastech is delighted to welcome Shell as Diamond Sponsor of the 23rd

edition of the 'Gastech Conference & Exhibition' - taking place in Seoul,

Korea, between 24-27 March 2014. This sponsorship aligns Shell as secondary

'diamond' supporters to the event hosts; Korean state gas company, Korea Gas

    The Gastech Korea event will see a keynote speech by Shell's Director of
