アジア太平洋地域での成長推進のため、2人の重要人事により同地域のチームを強化

スマートフォン保護ケースのリーディグカンパニーであるOtter Products, LLCは、同社の最高経営責任者（CEO）にジム・パーク（Jim Parke）氏、社長にスティーブ・ニスベット（Steve Nisbet）氏を任命することをはじめとした新しい人事体制を発表した。アジア太平洋（APAC）地域においては、ボニー・スーン（Bonnie Soon）氏がOtter Products APACのゼネラルマネジャーに昇格、ロブ・コバクス（Rob Kovacs）氏がOtter Products APACの副社長（事業開発担当）となった。

ニスベット氏は2010年にOtter Productsに入社し、戦略的なAPAC市場への同社の拡大を主導した。APACは今や、北米以外では同社にとって最も急速に成長している地域である。今後、ニスベット氏は社長の任務として日々の経営ならびに世界的なビジネス発展を監督する。スーン氏は経営初年度の2011年の間に12カ国以上に事業を拡大することに成功した。またOtter Products APAC経営の副社長として同地域の至る所でeコマースのチャンネルを開発し、ごく最近にはOtter Products APAC事業開発担当副社長として同地域の販売戦略を推進するため、重要なパートナーとの戦略的関係を構築した。Otter Products APACは重要市場において3年連続で前年比100%以上成長し、引き続きアジアでは高い成長の可能性があるとみている。

Strengthens regional team with two key appointments to drive APAC growth

Otter Products, LLC, a leader in protective cases for mobile technology, has

announced a number of key appointments, including Jim Parke as CEO, and Steve

Nisbet as president, of the global company. In the APAC region, Bonnie Soon has

been promoted to general manager for Otter Products APAC and Rob Kovacs is now

vice president of business development for Otter Products APAC.

Nisbet joined Otter Products in 2010, and led the company's expansion into

strategic APAC markets, now the fastest growing region for the company outside

of North America. In his role as president, Nisbet will oversee daily

operations as well as global growth.

Soon successfully expanded the business into more than a dozen countries during

its first year of operation in 2011. As vice president of Otter Products APAC

operations, Soon developed the e-commerce channels throughout the region and

most recently developed strategic relationships with key partners to drive the

regional sales strategy in her role as the vice president of Otter Products

APAC business development. Otter Products APAC has grown more than 100% year

over year for three consecutive years in key markets and continues to see high

potential growth opportunities in Asia.

With over 10 years' experience in the technology industry, Kovacs will lead the

business development team and all business partner activities across the APAC

region in his new role. He was previously the business development executive

for Australia and New Zealand.
