WQHT HOT 97 FM, the #1 station for Hip Hop and R&B, announced on March 30 a monumental expansion of the HOT 97 SUMMER JAM brand, bringing the biggest Hip Hop festival to Tokyo in July 2016.  As the first country outside of the United States, Japan has tied a license agreement with HOT 97. The multi-year partnership is between Japan-based Avex Live Creative, a premier live entertainment and production company, a division of Avex Group Holdings, and Trevanna Entertainment, the production team behind HOT 97 SUMMER JAM in New York.
