この提携は、関連事業と両社ブランドを強化し、アジア太平洋地区で統合型リゾート（IR）プロジェクトなどエンターテインメント事業の開発・運営で協力する相互コミットメントを含んでいる。今回の合意発表は2015年7月のGEGによる対S.B.M.戦略投資に続くものである。

モナコ大公のアルベール2世殿下はGEG会長のルイ・チェウー博士、フランシス・ルイ副会長、マイケル・メッカ社長との会合に際し、Monte-Carlo Societe des Bains de Mer（S.B.M.）とGalaxy Entertainment Group（GEG）がアジア太平洋地区全域の未来プロジェクトなどいくつかの機会で協力する戦略提携（2015年7月24日調印）を全面的に支持すると繰り返した。

GEGとS.B.M.の発表は、日本に将来IRを導入する道を開く「特定複合観光施設区域の整備の推進に関する法律案」（統合型リゾート推進法案）を参議院が可決した約3ヶ月後に行われた。

モナコのセルジュ・テル国務相は最近訪問したマカオで、GEGのアジアで名高いワールドクラスの高級統合型リゾート、S.B.M.のモナコにおけるアイコニックで高い評判の豊かな歴史、および大公の決定に言及して、この戦略提携に対するモナコ政府の承認を確認し、両社が互いの事業ポートフォリオとブランドに提供できることを評価した。

Monaco, announce today the formal establishment of a strategic partnership.

This partnership includes a mutual commitment to enhance the respective

businesses and brands of each company and to work together on the development

and operation of entertainment businesses including Integrated Resort ("IR")

projects in the Asia-Pacific region. The announcement of this agreement follows

a strategic investment made by GEG in S.B.M. in July 2015.
