Sterlite Powerはこのほど、スタンダードチャータード・プライベートエクイティ（SCPE）から電力伝送部門インフラ事業の28.4%利権を取得した。この買収によってSterlite Powerは、事業の100%利権を保有することになる。Sterlite Powerは2014年、SCPEから50億インドルピーの投資を得たが、これはインドの電力伝送部門部門における初の民間投資だった。同社は過去3年にわたり、インドでの3つのプロジェクトからインドとブラジルにおける15プロジェクトにまでポートフォリオを広げ、現在は2大陸の26州に足がかりを持っている。

Sterlite Power has acquired the 28.4% stake in its transmission infrastructure

business from Standard Chartered Private Equity (SCPE). With this acquisition,

Sterlite Power holds 100% stake in the business. Sterlite Power had attracted

an investment of INR 500 Cr in 2014 from SCPE which was the first private

foreign investment in the Indian transmission sector. Over the last three

years, Sterlite Power has grown its portfolio from three projects in India to

fifteen projects across India and Brazil, and now has a footprint in 26 states

across two continents.
