Governor Kensaku Morita of Chiba Prefecture will visit the Socialist Republic of Vietnam for the first time from November 18 to 21, 2018, to publicize the attractiveness of the prefecture’s tourism. Chiba Prefecture welcomes media coverage of the visit.

1. Tourism promoting seminar for companies that organize incentive travel

Details: Chiba Prefecture will host a seminar on its tourism by inviting representatives of local companies that organize incentive travel for their employees to attract tourists to Chiba.

2. Tourism seminar tied in with business talks

Time & Date: 17:10 - 17:30 p.m. (*), November 19

Place: Hotel Nikko Saigon

Details: Chiba Prefecture will introduce its tourism attractions to Vietnamese tour operators, including Tokyo Disneyland, flower parks and hot spring spas. Dozens of tour operators from both Chiba Prefecture and Vietnam are expected to attend and engage in full-scale business talks.

3. Inspecting a human resources development facility

Time & date: 14:30 - 15:40 (*), November 20

Place: Esuhai Kaizen Yoshida School

Details: The governor will inspect a human resources development facility, which dispatches technical interns and teaches the Japanese language to exchange students. He will use the visit to consider initiatives for accepting and supporting overseas human resources in areas such as caregiving.
