Venture Global LNGとKiewit、Calcasieu Pass LNG輸出施設でEPC契約締結を発表

【アーリントン（米バージニア州）2018年12月7日PR Newswire＝共同通信JBN】Venture Global LNG, Inc.とKiewitは、米ルイジアナ州キャメロン郡で開発中のCalcasieu Pass液化天然ガス（LNG）輸出プロジェクトでKiewitがEPC（設計・調達・建設）契約を受注したと共同発表した。Kiewit Louisiana Co.はターンキー方式のEPC契約の条件に従い、銘板容量年間1000万トン（MTPA）を輸送する施設の設計、エンジニアリング、建設、委託、試験、保証に取り組む。完成は2022年の予定。

年間1000万トン処理のCalcasieu Pass施設は、GE傘下企業Baker Hughes（BHGE）の一部であるGE Oil & Gas, LLCの総合処理ソリューションを採用する。ソリューションは工場製作の中規模モジュラー液化トレイン（蒸留・分離・液化設備）と、トレインに電力システムを供給する5x2 711メガワット（MW）のコンバインドサイクル発電（CCGT）を活用する。施設は必要な法的承認をすべて取り付けた後、2019年の早期に着工する。承認要件には米国連邦エネルギー規制委員会（FERC）の最終指導も含まれ、これは2019年1月22日より前に出される予定だ。

Calcasieu Passプロジェクトはシェル、BP、Edison S.p.A.、Galp、Repsol、PGNiGと20年間購入の確定契約が結ばれている。Venture Global LNGはルイジアナ州プラークミンズ郡で年間2000万トン処理のPlaquemines LNG輸出施設も開発しており、この施設は初めてPGNiGと20年間拘束の購入契約を交わした。Venture Global LNGはCalcasieu PassとPlaqueminesの両LNGプロジェクトについて、2019年に正式な最終投資決定（FID）を下す見通しだ。

Venture Global LNG and Kiewit Announce Execution of EPC Contract for Calcasieu Pass LNG Export Facility

Venture Global LNG, Inc. and Kiewit jointly announce that Kiewit has been

awarded the engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contract for the

Calcasieu Pass LNG export project under development in Cameron Parish,

Louisiana. Under the terms of the turnkey EPC contract, Kiewit Louisiana Co.

will design, engineer, construct, commission, test and guarantee the facility,

which carries a 10 million tonnes per annum (MTPA) nameplate. Completion is

expected in 2022.

The 10 MTPA Calcasieu Pass facility will employ a comprehensive process

solution from GE Oil & Gas, LLC, part of Baker Hughes, a GE company (BHGE) that

utilizes mid-scale, modular, factory-fabricated liquefaction trains as well as

a 5x2 711 MW CCGT to support the trains' electric-drive system. Construction of

the facility will commence by early 2019 following the receipt of all required

regulatory approvals, including the Final Order from the U.S. Federal Energy

Regulatory Commission (FERC), which is currently scheduled to be issued no

later than January 22, 2019.

The Calcasieu Pass project has signed binding 20-year offtake agreements with

Shell, BP, Edison S.p.A., Galp, Repsol and PGNiG. The company is also

developing the 20 MTPA Plaquemines LNG export facility in Plaquemines Parish,

Louisiana, which has executed its first binding 20-year offtake agreement with

PGNiG. Venture Global LNG expects to take formal final investment decisions

(FID) on both its Calcasieu Pass and Plaquemines LNG projects in 2019.
