アジアベストバートップ50の表彰式は5月9日シンガポールで開催

【シンガポール2019年1月29日PR Newswire＝共同通信JBN】昨年シンガポールで行われたアジアベストバートップ50（Asia’s 50 Best Bars）の成功を受け、今年も5月9日木曜日の夕方にキャピトルシアターで表彰式が開催されることになった。表彰式の後は象徴的な会場でアフターパーティーが予定されている。

この年次リストはアジアの200人を超える業界専門家による投票から作成され、2018年はアジア14都市からの選出があった。トップバーテンダー、影響力をもつバーのオーナー、業界人、世界のメディアから450人以上が参加して成功を収めた昨年に続き、今年からはWilliam Reed Business MediaとSingapore Tourism Boardの3年間のパートナーシップがスタートし、より大規模に、より良くなろうとしている。見逃せないのがCampari One To Watch、Altos Bartenders' Bartender、Ketel One Sustainable Barといった多くの特別賞である。

バーやカクテルの愛好家は5月9日午後8時45分から50 Best BarsのFacebookでライブストリーミングされるアジアベストバートップ50のカウントダウンに参加できる。

このアジアベストバートップ50の催しとして、5月10日（金）に#50BestTalksのイベントも開催される。今年の#50BestTalksの特徴はパネリストが全員女性であることで、重要トピックス、トレンド、そしてバーカルチャーに取り組むバー部門の女性にプラットフォームを提供する。また、アジアベストバートップ50はSingapore Cocktail Festivalとの共同により、5月10日から12日まで、地域のベストバーとバーテンダーをFestival Villageに呼ぶ。

Asia's 50 Best Bars Awards Ceremony to be Held in Singapore on 9 May

Following the success of last year's Asia's 50 Best Bars awards in Singapore,

the event will once again take place at Capitol Theatre in 2019, on the evening

of Thursday 9 May. This will be followed by an after-party at an iconic

destination.

The annual list is created from votes from over 200 industry experts in Asia

and saw representation from 14 Asian cities in 2018. With a successful turnout

of more than 450 top bartenders, influential bar owners, industry figures and

international media last year, this year's edition kicks off the three-year

partnership between William Reed Business Media and Singapore Tourism Board,

and is poised to be bigger and better. Not to be missed are a host of special

awards including the Campari One To Watch, the Altos Bartenders' Bartender and

the Ketel One Sustainable Bar Award.  

Bars and cocktail lovers are invited to join Asia's 50 Best Bars' countdown on

9 May from 8:45pm, through a live stream on the 50 Best Bars Facebook.

The Asia's 50 Best Bars festivities include the #50BestTalks event on Friday 10

May. This year's #50BestTalks features an all-female line-up of panellists and

provides a platform for women in the bar sector to tackle key topics, trends

and bar culture. Asia's 50 Best Bars is also working with Singapore Cocktail

Festival to bring the region's best bars and bartenders to the Festival Village

from 10 to 12 May.

Asia's 50 Best Bars and The World's 50 Best Bars are part of William Reed

Business Media, the company that also owns Asia's 50 Best Restaurants and The

World's 50 Best Restaurants.
