インド国外を本拠とする大手ODMの1社VVDN Technologiesは、アダプティブおよびインテリジェント・コンピューティングのリーダーXilinxと提携し、MWC 2019でXilinx Virtex UltraScale+ FPGAを使用したIrya-SmartNICソリューションを公開した。Irya- SmartNIC（ハーフハイト・ハーフレングス）は、クラウドコネクテッド・インフラストラクチャーのダイナミックなワークロード向けの仮想スイッチング、セキュリティー、コンピュートなどの機能の加速に役立つ。これによって、通信データセンターおよび通信アプリケーションで使用されている従来のNICよりも性能と効率が大幅に向上する（最大10倍）。ロープロファイルで低電力消費のSmartNICは、無線L1（コーデック機能）およびL2（PDCP、GTPなど）オフロード、セキュリティー（IPSec、SSL、フロー識別）、カスタムオフロードなど、通信事業エッジの有線および無線クラウドアプリケーションにとって最適である。

XilinxとVVDNは、このSmartNICを使った高性能オフロード機能のCOTSサーバーとの動作を成功裏に確立している。
