IFR世界ロボットリポート：日本でのロボット販売台数が21%増え、過去最高

【上海／フランクフルト（ドイツ）2019年9月19日PR Newswire＝共同通信JBN】International Federation of Robotics（IFR、国際ロボット連盟）による最新のWorld Roboticsリポートによると、日本でのロボット販売台数は約5万5000台と21%増え、過去最高を記録した。2018年の世界ロボット販売額は165億米ドルに達し、新記録となった。IFRは、2019年の出荷が2018年の記録的水準から減少すると予測しているが、2020年から2022年までの年間平均成長率は12%になると予想している。

2013年以降の日本での年間平均成長率は17%であり、既に高度に自動化された工業生産が行われている市場としては顕著である。日本は世界首位の産業用ロボット製造国であり、2018年には世界の供給の52%を提供した。

アジア、欧州、米州－展望

アジアは世界最大の産業用ロボット市場である。2018年は複雑な様相で、中国と韓国での設置台数が減少した一方で、日本では大幅増加した。全体で、アジアでは1%成長した。欧州でのロボットの設置台数は14%増加し、6年連続で過去最高を更新した。米州でも、成長率は前年より20%加速し、6年連続で新記録を更新した。

IFRの津田純嗣会長は「2018年はロボットの主要顧客である自動車および電機電子産業には困難な年だったが、販売額で過去最高を更新し、ダイナミックな実績を挙げた」と語った。

Japan's Robot Sales Increased by 21% to the Highest Value Ever – IFR Presents World Robotics Report

SHANGHAI and FRANKFURT, Germany, September 19, 2019, /PRNewswire=KYODO JBN/--

The new World Robotics report by the International Federation of Robotics shows

that robot sales in Japan increased by 21% to about 55,000 units, representing

the highest value ever for the country. The annual global sales value reaches

16.5 billion USD in 2018 – a new record. IFR forecasts shipments in 2019 will recede

from the record level in 2018, but expects an average growth of 12 percent per year

from 2020 to 2022.

The average annual growth rate for Japan of 17% since 2013 is remarkable for a market

with an already highly automated industrial production. Japan is the world's number one

industrial robot manufacturer and delivered 52% of the global supply in 2018.

Asia, Europe and the Americas - overview

Asia is the world's largest industrial robot market. In 2018, there was a mixed picture:

Installations in China and the Republic of Korea declined, while Japan increased considerably.

In total, Asia grew by 1%. Robot installations in Europe increased by 14% and reached

a new peak for the sixth year in a row. In the Americas, the growth rate reached 20%

more than the year before also a new record level for the sixth year in a row.
