この5Gデータ通信は、ラボにあるKeysightの5G試験デバイスに基づいてQuectel RM510Q-GL 5Gモジュールを介して行われ、5G IoTプロジェクトの今後の5G mmWave屋外試験および商用展開の道を開くことになる。さらに、今回の成果は、Quectelが5G研究開発能力とIoTイノベーションで先行していることの証しでもある。

IoT／eMBBアプリケーション向けに専用設計されたQuectel RM510Q-GLはSnapdragon X55 5G Modemを搭載し、5G Standalone（SA）およびNon-Standalone（NSA）両オペレーションでmmWaveおよびSub-6GHz周波数をサポートする。このM.2モジュールは、世界中のほぼすべての主要キャリアをカバーする。RM510Q-GLは LTE-Aおよび3Gネットワークとの下位互換性を保つために、マルチコンステレーションGNSSレシーバー、eSIMをはじめ、USB 3.1やPCIe 3.0などの高速インターフェースを搭載しており、Always Connected PC（ACPC）、産業用PDA、モバイルゲートウエーなどを含む世界展開されているモバイルデバイス向けに最適である。

Quectel Achieves Industry's First 5G Data Call over 5G mmWave Module

it has completed the industry's first 5G data call over its 5G millimeter wave

(mmWave) module that fully complies with 3GPP Release 15 5G NR standards.

The 5G data call was made over Quectel RM510Q-GL 5G module based on Keysight's

5G testing device in a lab, which will pave the way for the upcoming 5G mmWave

field tests and commercial deployment of 5G IoT projects. In addition, the move

Tailored for IoT/eMBB applications, Quectel RM510Q-GL features the Snapdragon

X55 5G Modem and supports mmWave and Sub-6GHz frequencies in both 5G Standalone

(SA) and Non-Standalone (NSA) operations. The M.2 module covers nearly all the

mainstream carriers worldwide. Designed backward compatible with LTE-A and 3G

networks, RM510Q-GL integrates multi-constellation GNSS receiver, eSIM, as well
