【香港2019年12月5日PR Newswire＝共同通信JBN】香港デジタルエンターテインメント協会（Hong Kong Digital Entertainment Association、HKDEA）は株式会社TBSテレビ（TBS）と協力し、香港特別行政区（HKSAR）政府のCreate Hong Kongの後援を受けて2019年11月30日、香港の大館で「21st（第21回）DigiCon6 ASIA Awards – Hong Kong」と「21st DigiCon6 ASIA Awards」の授賞式を主催した。「DigiCon6 Asia Awards」はアジアの栄誉ある年次デジタルコンテンツ・コンペティションである。今年で21年目を迎えた「DigiCon6 ASIA Awards」にとっては、日本以外で初めての開催となる授賞式である。

HKSAR政府の貿易経済発展局次官で法務官のチァン・パク・リ・バーナード博士は「21st DigiCon6 ASIA Awards」の授賞式と関連行事を香港で共同開催することに対し、HKDEAとTBSに感謝の意を表明した。

HKDEAのガブリエル・パン会長は「香港にとって、授賞式を主催することは名誉である。これは香港がアジアにおけるアニメの主要な原動力として評価されていることを証明するものだ」とコメントした。

Digicon6 ASIA本部海外アライアンス（Digicon6 ASIA Headquarters International Alliance）担当の結城崇史氏は「DigiCon6 ASIA Awardのイベントを香港で開催することはTBSとHKDEAにとって10年来の夢だった。HKSAR政府ならびに様々な関係者から力強いサポートを受けて喜んでいる」と付け加えた。

The Hong Kong Digital Entertainment Association (HKDEA) joined hands with

the Tokyo Broadcasting System Television, Inc. (TBS), to organize "21st DigiCon6

ASIA Awards-Hong Kong" and "21st DigiCon6 ASIA Awards" Presentation Ceremony,

under the sponsorship of Create Hong Kong of the HKSAR Government on 30 November

2019 in Tai Kwun Hong Kong."DigiCon6 ASIA Awards" is a prestigious annual digital content

competition in Asia. Marking its 21st anniversary this year, "DigiCon6 ASIA Awards" held

its Presentation Ceremony for the first time outside of Japan.
