Osaka 2025: Italy takes possession of land for pavilion

Italy on Wednesday, December 13, signed to take possession of the land for the Italy Pavilion at Expo Osaka 2025 in line with the established schedule.
As a result, on December 19 Italy will be the first participant nation to start construction.
Wednesday's handover of the plot A9 at the Expo site is a fundamental step to start building the Italy Pavilion at Expo Osaka 2025. Italy will be the first country to organize a Groundbreaking Ceremony on Tuesday, December 19th at the presence of Governor of Osaka Prefecture, Yoshimura and Expo Secretary General, Ishige.
The Commissioner General for Italy at Expo 2025 Osaka, Mario Vattani, on Wednesday, December 13, signed the handover to take over plot A9 where the Italy Pavilion will be built, enabling Italy to be the only nation among the taking part to start construction before the end of 2023.
"This important achievement was possible thanks to out fruitful cooperation with the Expo Association and with Nishio Rent All, the company that will build the Pavilion structure," Vattani explained.
