The 2025 New Energy Battery Industry Development Conference recently opened in Zaozhuang City, east China's Shandong Province.

Hosted by the China Machinery Industry Federation and co-organized by Sunwoda Power Technology Co., Ltd. and the MIIT Equipment Research Institute, the conference is themed "New Energy · New Power · New Future." The opening ceremony featured an in-depth dialogue on "Innovative Pathways for High-Quality Development in the New Energy Battery Sector" and debuted Sunwoda's latest breakthrough - the polymer solid-state battery. Throughout the conference, a series of activities also took place. These activities provided a targeted platform for collaboration across the industry, promoting efficient resource integration along the value chain through coordinated exhibitions, exchanges, and cooperation.

In recent years, Zaozhuang has positioned the new energy sector as the top priority for its industrial transformation. The city's strategy of consolidating lithium dominance, pioneering hydrogen innovation, harnessing solar potential, and expanding energy storage has attracted global giants like Geely, Sunwoda, KDL, CALB, and HITS to integrate into local industrial clusters. This effort has enhanced the sector's scale and sophistication, further establishing a market-driven innovation ecosystem where industry, academia, and research converge. Currently, Zaozhuang hosts 278 new energy enterprises with combined revenues surpassing 50 billion yuan.
