◎Windows Phone 7用のアプリをリリース　　ホテルズドットコム

【ロンドン４日PRN＝共同JBN】オンラインホテル予約サイト世界最大手のホテルズドットコム（Hotels.com）は４日、Windows Phone７（ウィンドウズフォン７）向けのモバイルアプリをリリースしたと発表した。

ホテルズドットコムのモバイルアプリは、昨年の発表以来既に数百万単位でダウンロードされている。このアプリは現在iPhone（アイフォーン）、アンドロイド機器でも利用可能となっており、２０１１年９月にはiPad（アイパッド）用にカスタム化されたバージョンも出ている。

ホテルズドットコムのモバイルアプリによって、ユーザーは行きたい都市や現在地でホテルを探し、世界中のほぼ１４万９０００軒におよぶホテルを検索し予約できる。このモバイルアプリによって、ユーザーは旅行中でも、ぎりぎりの段階で２万以上の直前割引やホテル情報、６５０万に上る（実際に当該ホテルに滞在した）顧客によるレビューにアクセスできる。

ホテルズドットコムのクリステル・チャン氏は「昨年初めてホテルズドットコムのモバイルアプリをリリースしてから、あちらこちらでホテルを探す人たちからますます要求が強くなった。なぜならホテルを検索する人たちの７０％が、泊まりたいその日にホテルを探すからだ」と指摘し、さらに次のように語っている。

     Hotels.com, the world's leading hotel booking website, has today  

       announced the launch of its mobile app for Windows Phone 7

    Launched last year, the Hotels.com mobile app has since received several

million downloads. The app is also currently available for iPhone and Android

devices, as well as a custom built version for the iPad which was added to the

portfolio in September 2011.

    The Hotels.com mobile app allows users to search and book almost 149,000

hotels around the world, either by entering the city they wish to stay or by
